It's May 2nd. While the day designated for the twining of green branches, maypoles, and banners at labour protests is past, the tent that is the May Day Poetry Project has just been erected.
So far, it's meant eight poets posting on flowers, rain, childhood, old ladies, light, and undergarments.
I contributed another 'aren't I huge' poem, which are fun to set to paper, if not to actually write (couldn't sit upright long enough to finish up & couldn't type lying sideways...).
Anyways, thanks heaps to the contributing poets whose emails and enthusiasm for the project kept me from cancelling this time round.
Thanks too to anyone who cares to follow along.
(Yay!)
