I humped Hump to the post office this afternoon.
I was VERY glad to get the damned thing out of the house. It was taking up entirely too much room, mental and otherwise...
Now I only have three to four (six, eight...ten?) months to wait for the verdict.
Speaking of the verdict, the Alfred G. Bailey manuscript prize will be announced this weekend, at the WFNB's AGM.
I don't expect to hear one way or another for a few days after that, but tomorrow night, I'll be trying to visualize the room, the dimmed lights, the expectant hush...
I'm also expecting to hear about two other submissions soon, one a handful of poems to SK-based e-mag The Fieldstone Review and the other a long poem chapbook submission to Leaf Press.
And I'm also EXCEEDINGLY pleased to report that production has started on the navel gaze, my limited-edition handmade chapbook with Palimpsest Press.
Which means that I will most likely have copies to take with me to Sage Hill. Which reminds me, I hafta get my application materials together...

Yay! I wish Hump all the best.
Thanks, B!
Likewise to your Cantos From Wolverine Creek, though it's an actuality instead of a fervent wish like Hump.
