In this edition of Paperchase:
* Thirteen acclaimed writers, including Toronto's Margaret Atwood, as well as Brits J.K. Rowling, Doris Lessing and Nick Hornby, will be composing stories on postcards for a charity auction in London, June 11.

* The Carol Shields Memorial Labyrinth in King's Park will be the site of a literary event today featuring BC writer Star Weiss.

* On Tuesday, Winnipeg writer and retired teacher Madeline Coopsammy will appear at Aqua Books as part of the Writers' Collective's Speaking Crow open-mike series.

* Winnipeg university professor John Perry will launch his book Catholics and Slavery: A Compromising History at McNally Robinson Grant Park on Thursday.

* Award-winning Winnipeg writer Chandra Mayor will introduce a documentary on the late B.C.-based writer Jane Rule at Cinematheque June 12.
