In which Ariel shoots, edits, and posts photos in avoidance of the 12 hours of work that lie before her.
In which Ariel writes pithy copy under said photos, briefly but charmingly relaying information about her imminent departure for Lumsden, SK and the Sage Hill Writing Experience (Monday!), the recent acceptance from nthposition, and tantalizing hints about new opportunities manifesting this fall, to do with festivals and book tours.
In which Ariel realizes that she has left Aqua after a week of work and not bought a single book (!) but, in fits and starts during that same week, has plowed through Smith's Muriella Pent and Patchett's Bel Canto and is still working on Theis' The Art of Salvage.

Have fun at Sage Hill! Hope it's productive! Turn off your cell so AA doesn't pester you...
