Hamilton launch of Treed

* * *

Hamilton is such a great city for a book like Treed. It's surrounded by forests and waterfalls, it has a great urban forest, and, between the trees: bookstores. Like Epic Books, where I spent an epic afternoon handselling books as part of Authors for Indies Day a few years ago and King Street Books, which will be hosting Daniel Coleman and I for a signing in a few weeks.

And then there's Wolsak & Wynn's Spring Launch, where all the authors of spring 2019 titles will read and celebrate their books.

Toronto launch of Treed!

* * *
I'm greatly looking forward to the Toronto launch of Treed: Walking in Canada's Urban Forest, mostly because I get to launch with Jo Cullen, Natalee Caple, Sally Cooper, and Becky Blake, because I get to launch with Wolsak & Wynn.

Reading with Jenna Butler

So Jenna Butler is one of my favourite people: determined, talented, and kind. I'm so happy to be reading with her and Kate Bitney to launch her latest book, Magnetic North.

I'm going to be reading an excerpt from one of the essays in Treed, which will be published this May with Wolsak & Wynn.
