* On May 2, poet and prof Di Brandt will be appearing at McNally Robinson Grant Park as a part of an omnibus event featuring seven Brandon-based authors with recent books.To read more, see the Winnipeg Free Press website.
* Former Winnipegger Tanis MacDonald, who once did a book about Brandt, will be returning to Winnipeg next week to launch her third book of poetry on May 1.
* HarperCollins Canada announced this week that it will be publishing a 'novelization' of actor-director Paul Gross's upcoming film, Passchendaele.
* A new edition of Levine's Fugitives of the Forest: The Heroic Story of Jewish Resistance and Survival During the Second World War will be published this fall by The Lyons Press. Fugitives' release is being timed to coincide with that of the American feature film Defiance.
