Lit list

Here are some of the books I'm looking forward to over the coming days/weeks/months, some of which I snapped up from the piles at Aqua, some of which are review copies, and some of which I bought at the WIWF but haven't gotten to yet...

correction line by dennis cooley (Thistledown, 2008)

Erratic by by donna kane (Hagios, 2007)

Tom Thomson's Shack by Harold Rhenisch (New Star Books, 2000)

Childhood by Andre Alexis (M&S, 1998)

The Boys in the Trees by Mary Swan (Henry Holt, 2008)

Come, Thou Tortoise by Jessica Grant (Knopf, 2009)

All the Living by C.E. Morgan (Knopf, 2009)

What're you looking forward to, lit-wise, o fair reader?

I always have room on my list for a humdinger of a book...

Since you are looking forward to Jessica Grant's new novel I just want to make sure you also know about a recent audio short fiction release by Jessica Grant with Rattling Books. The Princification Process by Jessica Grant is one of the many great stories included in the inaugural three volumes of EarLit Shorts, a new audio short fiction series. I hope you'll check it out. Here's a URL to the volume containing Jessica's story:

Thanks, rattling reader...I'll have a look.

(Also, I should qualify my glib assertion about some of the books being review copies: they are ARCs of books I'm reviewing, not review copies I found second-hand.)
